Intro & New Features
Bauer has released a new line of hockey equipment for recreational players, which includes the Bauer NS hockey skates. The Tuuk Lightspeed Pro II holder secures the NS hockey skates' stainless steel runner. The footbed of this skate is comprised of EVA foam, which provides a comfy basis. The Bauer NS hockey skates are intended for recreational usage by athletes new to the sport.
Boot Construction
The boot is constructed with an injected comp weave quarter package. This design is built for recreational players, while still providing a durable and reliable boot. It offers a beginner level of stability and support, so players can feel comfortable on the ice, while being protected from impacts.
Tongue
The tongue on the NS hockey skates is made up of a 30oz felt tongue. This build is both flexible and comfortable, allowing players to play through impacts that may come their way.
Liner & Internal Padding
Inside the skate, Bauer implemented a microfiber liner that is designed to absorb moisture and keep the players feet dry and cool while wearing the skate. They also added anaform ankle pads which provide the player with an additional level of support as well as comfort while their feet are inside the skate.
Steel/Holder
The Bauer NS hockey skates use the Tuuk Lightspeed Pro II skate holder. This holder is mounted to the skate and provides players with optimized height for tightest turns. Attached to the skates is Bauer's stainlees steel runner. This is a durable runner that has good and reliable edges for players to have sharp and tight turns.
Insoles
The footbed is made up of EVA foam which provides the player with a comfortable landing for their foot while skating in this boot.
