Features on the M5 Pro shin guards include an X-Flex Shield shin cap, an ErgoDynamic Lab knee, and CURV composite.

Shin Protection

The Bauer M5 Pro shin guards are equipped with the advanced X-Flex shield shin cap, offering enhanced mobility and improved skating stride. The X-Flex shield shin cap features a hinged flex design that allows for a more natural and unrestricted range of motion while skating, ensuring that players can move with greater ease and efficiency on the ice.

Knee Cap Protection

The knee protection on the shin guards is designed with the innovative ErgoDynamic Lab knee cap, offering a deeper and more natural fit. This advanced kneecap design ensures a secure and comfortable feel while providing optimal protection. Additionally, the same shield technology used in the shin area extends to the knee, ensuring consistent levels of impact resistance.

Calf Protection

The calf protection on the Bauer M5 Pro shin guards is constructed using CURV composite material for a lightweight yet reliable defence, the same as the Mach. The integration of CURV composite provides exceptional impact resistance while minimizing added weight on the player's legs.

Liner

The shin guards use a Thermomax liner, which is designed to manage moisture effectively and keep players dry during intense gameplay. It utilizes moisture-wicking materials to draw sweat away from the body and accelerate evaporation, promoting a more comfortable and odour-free experience. By keeping the player's body dry, the Thermomax liner aims to enhance performance and comfort on the ice.

Strapping

The shin guards use a comfort lock strap and wide calf strap to keep the pads locked on and stable on your leg. The wide design on the calf strap is also built to be seamless and comfortable over the player’s leg.
