The ESS ICE-2LS protective eyewear offers exceptional eye protection for any soldier, police officer, emergency responder, rescue worker or athlete thanks to its unique ballistic eyewear features. The goggles have a modern design and are sufficiently protected against damage such as scratches to the frames or lenses. The ICE-2LS offers excellent quality for any activity where high quality eye protection is required for use in a variety of lighting conditions.
ICE stands for Interchangeable Component Eyeshield. The ICE-2LS design provides an unobstructed field of view Adjustable, moldable feet provide comfort for any user. The glasses can be purchased with the so-called Rx Insert, which is an insert with dioptric lenses that can be installed in a regular optical store network. Thanks to the ToughZone, the glasses have a scratch-resistant coating. The distance between the sides of the glasses is 14cm. The ICE glasses have ballistic resistance that meets NATO military requirements. Ballistic resistance tested at 0.15 calibre according to MIL-PRF-31013 standard.The glasses can withstand a direct shotgun hit from a distance of 10m.
ICE-2LS have 2 types of protective glasses (clear, dark grey) as standard. The ESS goggles absorb only sunlight and for this reason there is good visibility with dark lenses even in the shade.
Glasses: A set of two extremely durable polycarbonate glasses with a thickness of 2.4 mm. Tested by the Czech Bureau for Testing of Weapons and Ammunition in Prague. Thanks to ESS Modular Technology, replacement glasses are not costly and are easily replaceable. All glasses used provide 100procent protection against UVA/UVB radiation and ensure 100procent transparency without distortion of the field of vision.
